BEDLAM

A conversation about military suicide from the perspective of the troops.

Written by Neath Williams

A young Marine, Lance Corporal Hunt finds a fellow Marine who has committed suicide while he was standing watch. Hunt begins to question his own purpose, values, the violence of the war he is fighting. He is overwhelmed by his own depression, personal problems, and grief for the other Marines death, while also endearing the way in which the USMC deals with suicides. What can he do to resolve these emotions and issues, where can he go, who can he turn to? Is it even worth existing at all?
